Vietnam’s residence book reforms won’t happen for another two years: police
News that Vietnam is planning to replace its outdated residence books with an online database has gained widespread kudos, but police have warned residents not to get too excited just yet. The online system will not be ready until 2020, a spokesperson from the Ministry of Public Security said at a media conference Tuesday in what appears to be a move to ease premature expectations. To replace the books, Vietnam is expected to introduce a personal identification code which will be linked to data accessible to all government agencies. Current residency data is limited to the police and that’s why people need to present their residence books for most administrative procedures. Officers also said that the government does not plan on loosening citizen registration controls, and will be simply digitalizing the procedure. Bac Giang aims to draw 2 billion USD in investment this year

Priority will be given to projects in the fields of transport, energy, key urban area development, supporting technology for garment-textile and footwear sectors, hi-tech industry, spare parts, hi-tech agriculture, and farm produce preservation and processing. The province will also focus on developing various forms of tourism such as spiritual tourism, eco-tourism, and resort tourism with hi-end hotels. To realise the target, the local authorities have requested investors of industrial parks to speed up the completion of technical infrastructure. Vietnam performs over 750 stem cell transplants in ten years

The statistics were published at the 5th National Scientific Conference on Stem Cells, which opened in Hanoi on April 23 with the participation of around 300 health experts. Since the 1950s, the study and application of stem cells in medicine has been considered a breakthrough, creating new development opportunities for the medical sector. The construction celebrates the 283rd anniversary of the society and the 2019 Ha Tien Tourism Year. The 14,000 sq.m complex is located in the Binh San Mountain Cultural and Historical Area in Bình San district. It consists of a 198-sq.m house with two storeys, a flower garden and an outdoor stage, costing more than 15 billion VND (644,500 USD).
