According to Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Phuong Dong, strong growth of metal and furniture production (59.4 percent, and 41.7 percent, respectively) pushed local processing to scale up 7 percent. Users in these two areas can book bus tickets for the inter-regional route from Tan Son Nhat Airport in HCM City to Vung Tau City. Grab Viet Nam expects to have an additional route from District 1 to District 7 in HCM City, which will be operated by the City View Company and will have 44 bus routes per day. The World Bank forecast that about US$16.7 billion in remittances will flow into Viet Nam this year, up 4.6 per cent from a year earlier. — Photo tinnhanhchungkhoan.vn Remittances to Viet Nam are likely to increase in 2019 because overseas Vietnamese people believe in the stability of the economy and see better investment opportunities, economist Nguyen Tri Hieu said. Remittances have been forecast to reach US$17 billion this year by some organisations, he said.
