Measuring body temperature of a Cambodia n man (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Thirteen Vietnamese people in Cambodia infected by SARS-CoV-2 in the latest outbreak in the country are in stable health conditions, according to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang. Hang said that Vietnamese representative offices in Cambodia have contacted local authorities and authorised offices to verify information about the cases and request attention and treatment for the patients to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of Vietnamese citizens. Right after their infection was confirmed the Vietnamese patients were brought to hospitals of the Cambodian Health Ministry in Phnom Penh capital city and Kandal province for quarantine and treatment. Nguyen Thi Bich Van In early 2021, on its Facebook page, IBM Vietnam for the first time announced the appointment of a female Vietnamese CEO to replace a foreign CEO who had been working for IBM for 25 years. The woman, Pham Thu Diep, is the first IBM’s ‘female general’ in the company's 25 years of operation in the Vietnamese market. Vietnam continues to bring home hundreds of people from different parts of the worlds in recent days as coronavirus infections and deaths keep going up worldwide, including Singapore, one of the coronavirus hotspots in Southeast Asia. Earlier on May 31, more than 340 were brought home from Singapore where coronavirus infections have surpassed 43,000.
