More than 1.7 million students in Ho Chi Minh City returned to school on Monday after having to switch to remote learning for several weeks as part of COVID-19 prevention and control measures. According to the observations of Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper reporters, students of Tran Van On Middle School in District 1 had to queue up in two lines to have their body temperature measured before entering the school. Cu Chi Tunnels site seeks UNESCO’s recognition
When people think of the most modern and crowded city in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City first comes to mind. Ta Chi Nhu – the road to conquering the rooftop of Yen Bai province
Beautiful scenery on the road from the centre of Tram Tau district to Mo Chi. The terraced field is one of the "specialties" of this land. Often called the rooftop of Yen Bai province, Ta Chi Nhu is located in Xa Ho commune, Tram Tau district. It is part of the Pu Luong massif of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Government chief: Da Nang must aim to become special Vietnamese city
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc made these remarks whilst chairing a meeting on the adjustment of the city’s master planning to 2030 with a vision towards 2045. Upon appreciating the quality of the central city's master plan adjustment project, PM Phuc noted that in the near future, Da Nang is destined to become a special Vietnamese city, joining the likes of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Therefore, the planning, adjustment, and implementation of the master planning must be fully oriented towards local people, serving national development interests, while not allowing corruption or group interests to occur. All catering services in HCM City required to close
The Hanoitimes - Café and restaurants, fitness centers, spa, and hair salons in Ho Chi Minh City have suspended operations from March 24 to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Ho Chi Minh City authorities have requested all catering services in the locality to close from 18.00 of March 24 to March 31 to limit crowds and help prevent the Covid-19 pandemic more effectively. One restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City announces closure according to the city's order.
