Like other coastal areas in the country, the province is being polluted by the daily dumping of waste into the ocean. While there is no shortage of environmental management efforts in Trat, dealing with waste, particularly plastic pollution, remains a big struggle. CV9 Academy opens in HCM City
“This institute is my long-nurtured dream. In the short term, Media Pool Company and I, alongside other partners, will build a strong sporty environment for trainees aged between 6-15 years old,” said Le Cong Vinh, former captain of Vietnam senior football team and founder of the CV9 Academy. “I want to open the CV9 Academy to help juniors develop physical strength, as well as a spirit of unity, to help each other in sport. The institute is also a place for juniors to develop their passion of football,” said Vinh. Vinh invited former Australian national footballer Marshall Soper to be a technical consultant for his academy. CMC and MND mission takes the “Returning to the Roots” tour to Cao Bang
The tour aimed to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the foundation day of the Vietnam People’s Army and the 30th anniversary of the whole people’s defense festive day. The mission offered incense to the Eldest Brother of the Vietnam People’s Army General Vo Nguyen Giap and fallen soldiers of the Vietnam Armed Propaganda and Liberation Team (the predecessor of the Vietnam People's Army) at the Special National Relic Site of Tran Hung Dao Forest. They also attended a ceremony to inaugurate the Ministry of National Defense-invested project on upgrading the Special National Relic Site of Tran Hung Dao Forest. Over the past 75 years, this historical location, where the Vietnam Armed Propaganda and Liberation Team was founded with 34 members, has been carefully preserved by the Cao Bang people. Border guard units to safely protect sovereignty and security in border areas
At the conference Delegates evaluated that in 2019, under the leadership of the Border Guard Party Committee and Command, border guard units fulfilled all border area-related missions. Accordingly, they closely followed situational developments to make timely recommendations for the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense to issue guidelines and policies to effectively deal with incidents in border areas. Border guard units were also active in fighting crime, smuggling, and trade fraud while paying attention to carrying out combat readiness, natural disaster relief, search and rescue missions and building the whole people’s defense and firm border areas.
