Photo Courtesy Shopee Vietnam HCM CITY – E-commerce platform Shopee on Friday said it had achieved another record-breaking 12.12 Birthday Sale performance with 80 million items sold. It got 80 million visits in 24 hours as users from across the region shopped from millions of deals on December 12. The company did not reveal market-wise figures. Pine Kyaw, managing director of Shopee Vietnam, said: “Year after year we continue to see more users from both big and small cities buying and selling a wide variety of items. Shopee has become the go-to, everyday shopping app for everyone in the region, and we are committed to making e-commerce simple and accessible for all.” According to iPrice’s Q3 2019 e-commerce report, Shopee is the most visited e-commerce website on desktop and mobile web across the region. Vietnam, Germany expand defense cooperation

Vietnam, Thailand urged to boost stronger cooperation
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc (R) and Thai Ambassador to Vietnam Tanee Sangrat.
