UAE national team will be without their top scorer, Ali Mabkhout, in their upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against hosts Vietnam next month, after being booked in the 2-1 loss to Thailand on October 15. In the defeat to hosts Thailand in their Group G clash on Tuesday, Mabkhout received a yellow card and under the rule, players who receive two yellow cards will be suspended for the next match. Earlier, Mabkhout was also booked during their 2-1 win over Malaysia. The striker will be suspended in the trip to Hanoi’s My Dinh Stadium on November 14. A lot of them are kept as pets until they get illegally captured when their owners are not paying attention and sold to restaurants. The “job” of trapping pets from households is sadly quite popular in Vietnam, especially in the northern part of the country where dog and cat meat can … [Read more...] about Cats and dogs in Vietnam – friends or food?
The juicy, tender shrimp in this salad highlight the best of the shrimp farms in the country’s southern region. VNS Photo Mỹ Hà By Nguyễn Mỹ Hà Weekends are the busiest time on the beach at Melia Hồ Tràm Resort & Spa. It was Friday night, and a company was having a staff party with loud music and a lot of people. The atmosphere was electric and I shared in their joy and positive energy. After enjoying the party for a while, we ordered room service for a quiet evening. We had shrimp avocado salad (VNĐ250,000), fettucine with beef and tomato ragu (VNĐ420,000) and “ribeye on the stone” (VNĐ490,000), which was so good we ordered it again the next day. When we arrived back at the restaurant the next morning, everything was perfectly clean as if the party never happened. Salmon and caviar rice paper rolls offer a fresh opening to the meal.
