The Brahma Giong Xoai statue The exhibition showcases the groups’ traditional crafts of beading and brocade weaving and their weddings, folk art, and culinary delights, among other cultural features. The five national treasures are the Brahma Giong Xoai statue, dating from the 6th-7th centuries, two sets of Linga and Yoni from the 5th-7th centuries, a Giong Xoai wooden Buddha statue from the 4th-6th centuries, and a Khanh Binh stone Buddha statue from the 6th-7th centuries. Ho Thi Hong Thi, deputy director of the museum, said the exhibition aims to create a cultural space for the public on the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday and attract tourists. Vietnam to raise rate of trained workers to 40 percent by 2030 Workers at a garment factory Overall, the programme aims to provide a strong premise for comprehensively developing the labour market; effectively mobilising, distributing, and utilising resources to boost socio-economic growth; shift to a modernised labour structure; and promote links between the domestic labour market and those of the region and the world. Its objectives are to increase the number of workers with labour market-relevant skills and raise the number of trained workers to 30 percent by 2025 and 30-45 percent by 2030. Under the programme, Vietnam expects to be among the top 60 countries in the Knowledge Workers sub-pillar of the Global Innovation Index (GII) by 2025 and among the top 55 by 2030. The Dao are a major ethnic group with a population of 891,151 according to the 2019 census. They consist of several sub-groups and live mostly in the northern region. They have a diverse and rich culture and speak a number of different languages. Lensman Nguyen Son Tung, also known as Tung "Dao" for his particular interest in the ethnic group, recently shot pictures of their traditional costumes. Dao Lu Gang in Lang Son Province A couple in wedding outfits accompanied by two pi le (a traditional wind instrument) players in Ai Quoc Commune, Loc Binh District. The pi le is played on special occasions such as weddings, Tet (Lunar New Year) and sacred rituals. Under the contract signed on February 9 via a virtual conference, Duy Tân will sell 70 per cent of its shares in five of total twenty-two subsidiary companies, including Duy Tân Plastic Manufacturing Corporation and Duy Tân Long An Corporation, to SCG’s SCG Packaging, Duy Tân said. Duy Tân Plastic is a leading company in the plastic goods market in Việt Nam with revenue of VNĐ4.7 trillion in 2020. It has nearly 1,000 commodities units and 16,000 distribution agents across the country. The company’s annual capacity reaches 116,000 tonnes of hard plastic packaging and plastic goods.
