The latest survey by the Urban Department under the Hà Nội People’s Council shows a similar situation in other rural communes. In Đan Phượng District, for example, the four water supply facilities that were in operation by the end of the second quarter of 2018 could only process enough water to meet 30 per cent of the district’s demand. Project on rare primate preservation launched in Thanh Hoa A corner of Pu Hu nature reserve A scientific project to evaluate and preserve primates in Pu Hu Nature Reserve in the northern central province of Thanh Hoa in 2019-2021 was recently approved. The management board of the reserve area will research the current status and distribution area, gender, living conditions, food and threats to the species. It is set to hold conferences in 53 villages and sign commitments to raise public awareness about rare primate protection. In addition, 11 coordinating projects will be carried out to control hunting rifles in villages close to the reserve. The board is also working to propose preservation measures and printing posters for communication work. The number of rare primates is declining due to hunting and illegal deforestation. The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) is developing a plan to expand Tuy Hoa airport in the south central province of Phu Yen and build a new terminal with a capacity of 2.5 million passengers per year in the 2020-2025 period. Last year, more than 337,000 passengers arrived at the Tuy Hoa airport, equaling 61 percent of its present capacity. By 2020, the airport’s capacity will reach 600,000 passengers per year, and by 2030 will be 3 million per year, according to the scheme to develop airway transport by 2020, which has been approved by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. Family medical practice clinics aim to provide comprehensive and continuous health care services to each local individual and family in order to reduce overcrowding of patients at city or central-level hospitals. These clinics are located at health stations in communes and wards. Each commune or ward has one health station. Cần Thơ aims to equip more than 80 per cent of its 85 health stations with these clinics by 2020.
