The annual tournament will feature Myanmar U20, Cambodia U20, Vietnam U20 and the hosts Becamex Binh Duong FC. This year, the organisers have changed the competition format. Instead of playing in round robin format, teams will play a knockout fixture with the two winners advancing to the final. The champions will walk away with 500 million VND (21,600 USD). Vietjet CEO among world’s 100 most powerful women
The only Vietnamese woman on the list, Thao was place 52nd, down eight places from last year. This is the third year in a row she has been included in Forbes magazine’s list of 100 most powerful women in the world. The list was compiled based on assets, impact, spheres of influence and media presence, the magazine said. It estimated that the budget carrier CEO and the richest woman in Vietnam to have a net worth of around $2.7 billion as of December 13. Thao, 49, has done business in Vietnam and abroad in many fields, including finance, banking, aviation, real estate, and retail. She launched Vietjet in 2011. The airline now leads the domestic market with a 45 percent share. The port will be overloaded in 2020 with 10 million tonnes of cargo, and the port will host only cruise ships after 2030.-VNS Photo Cong Thanh Chairman of the city People’s Committee, Huynh Duc Tho said the ministry should review the report from Da Nang before submitting the project to the Prime Minister next week. Tho said preparations for the first stage of the project will be completed in 2018-19, and construction will commence in 2020. He said the first stage of construction will focus on infrastructure including piers and dykes to serve logistics, storage and transhipment at the port from 2022. Lien Chieu Port is designed to handle 3.5 to 5 million tonnes of cargo in the first stage from 2022.
