Hanoi has been active in building two back dikes in the Red river section through urban districts and in the relocation of nearly one million inhabitants along the river; however, it still needs to ensure sustainable development in the riparian areas, Kinh Te & Do Thi quoted architect Tran Huy Anh as saying. The candidate vaccine is being developed by the MoH’s Institute of Vaccines and Medical Biologicals (IVAC). Speaking at the handover ceremony, Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long spoke highly of the support of enterprises, organizations and individuals for Vietnam’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The first “Made-in-Vietnam” ventilators were produced under the collaboration of the ministry and Vingroup, he noted, adding that the machines have been provided to localities nationwide. Vietnamese scientists have regarded vaccine development as the key factor to contain the pandemic, and the MoH has spared no efforts in the research for vaccine in order to be able to produce the vaccine as soon as possible. Sweden proposes US$2-billion commercial loan for aviation projects in Vietnam

Work on Vietnam’s largest airport to begin in December
The Hanoitimes - The first phase of the project, estimated at VND99 trillion (US$4.25 billion), is set to be completed within 60 months and become operational by December 2025. Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), the largest operator of 22 commercial airports in the country, plans to start the construction of Long Thanh International Airport, the largest of its kind in Vietnam, in late December.
