Anything can happen when driving in Vietnam It appears that the Vietnamese attitude towards driving is completely different than my impression on the Vietnamese attitude towards beauty, friendliness and strong family ties. Vietnam finish runners-up at AFC U23 Championship Vietnam were the runners-up at the AFC U23 Championship after losing 12 -1 after extra-time to Uzbekistan in the final match in Changzhou, China on January 27. From a corner-kick by Dostonbek Khamdamov, Rustamjon Ashurmatov scored the first goal with a header in the eighth minute. With five official minutes left to go in the first half, Vietnam were awarded a free-kick right outside the penalty box after Cong Phuong was fouled by Dostonbek Tursunov, and midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai scored an equaliser for Vietnam. However, Andrey Sidorov scored the second goal for Uzbekistan in the last minute of extra time.
