There is a ‘vendetta’ hard to settle between Vietnam and Thailand in women’s football in Southeast Asia and they will take on each other in the finale of the category at the 2019 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in the Philippines on Sunday. The final showdown at 7:00 pm at Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila will be a clash between the arch-enemies to prove the winners are the absolute queens of the Beautiful Game in the region. At the 2019 SEA Games, the Philippines, Malaysia and Myanmar were placed in Group A while Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia made up Group B. Vietnam progressed to the semifinal round as group toppers, having drawn 1-1 against Thailand and routed Indonesia 6-0.
