Cham people's traditional instrument introduced at the event The exhibition introduces nearly 200 items and over 76 images and documentaries about festive activities, musical instruments, costumes and tools for daily activities. The displayed exhibits contributed to reflecting the quintessence, characteristics and diversity in cultural and spiritual life of the Cham ethnic group in Ninh Thuan province. Ninh Thuan is home to over 82,000 Cham ethnic people, accounting for 50% of the Cham population in the country. During their development, the people always preserve and promote their unique cultural identities, making contribution to diversifying Vietnamese culture in general. After BSR's recent record-breaking IPO, the market expects big competition for the shares The first transaction day will be on March 1, with the reference price of VND22,400 ($0.98), according to information published by the Hanoi Stock Exchange. Previously, BSR reported a successful initial public offering (IPO) with a complete take-up of the offered shares and the record selling unit price of VND14.8 million ($651.69). On January 17, BSR conducted its IPO to sell 242 million shares, equalling 7.79 per cent of its charter capital at the initial price of VND14,600 ($0.64) apiece. As a result, 623 investors among the 4,079 registered investors won the auction, including 62 organisations and 561 individuals. 147.83 million shares, equalling 61.2 per cent of the offered share volume, were bought by foreign investors. Pigs do not hold an honourable position in Vietnamese culture. However, they appear to be the most popular species among the six domestic animals since early history. Pigs, along with dogs, chickens, goats, horses, and buffalos, make up the full list of domestic animals. In the past, Vietnamese relied on rice farming and small-scale husbandry, thus almost every family had a pig shed at home. Almost everybody grew up with memories of pig sheds in the backyard. Hanoi Train Street off track as a global destination
With the year drawing to a close, travel enthusiasts around the world have drawn up numerous holiday plans for 2020. Tuning with the trend, U.S. travel site Fodor's earlier this week released its annual "No List," highlighting destinations travelers should consider giving a skip. Included on the list, Hanoi Train Street refers to a section of railway track in the capital's Old Quarter, stretched between Dien Bien Phu and Phung Hung streets, and situated only a few feet from nearby houses. "Overcrowding has caused trains to get stuck and be rerouted. As a result, local authorities have ordered trackside cafes to close and posted signs advising against photo and video shooting," Fodor’s said. "Because the tracks remain operational, they come with a dangerous price," the site added.
