Hanoi student bags gold medal at Informatics Olympiad

The Hanoitimes - With these achievements, the Vietnamese team ranked 9th among 87 countries and territories competing at the 2020 IOI. All four Hanoi students competing at the 2020 International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) have bagged medals, including one gold, according to the Ministry of Education and Training. 16-year-old Vietnamese student saves money to build automated bike

Mai Quoc Huy is neither an outstanding student nor a teacher’s favorite. Cerebral palsy student wins 2nd prize at national competition

Giving birth to a child with soft body and hands folded down, San never gave up hope. Seventeen years later, the boy has seen success. Nguyen Duc Thuan and his mother Nguyen Duc Thuan, a 12th grader majoring in informatics at the Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, recently won the second prize at the national competition for excellent students. August 17-23: Meeting marks 75th anniversary of August Revolution

Meeting marks 75th anniversary of August Revolution Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan attended a ceremony held at the NA House on August 19 to mark the 75th anniversaries of the Tan Trao National Congress (August 16), the August Revolution (August 19), and National Day (September 2). Tan Trao, known as the cradle of Vietnam’s revolution, was once the home of President Ho Chi Minh and Party agencies in the period before the success of the August Revolution in the resistance war against French colonialists. On September 2, 1945, at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi, President Ho Chi Minh delivered the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
