HCM City eyes 10 percent growth in export in 2021 Shrimps processed for export Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Industry and Trade has set the target to export 48.19 billion USD worth of products in 2021, a year-on-year surge of 10 percent. Under its development plan for 2021 recently submitted to the municipal People’s Committee, the sector said import revenue is estimated at 56.47 billion USD for the whole year, up 11 percent against the previous year. Besides, it eyed to reel in more than 835.68 trillion VND (36.29 billion USD) from retail sales and services revenues in the year, up 10 percent year-on-year. The department said it will carry out necessary measures in a comprehensive fashion to branch out industry and trade, contributing to promoting economic recovery of the southern hub. Buffalo tours in Hội An prove a hit

Lê Hương Buffaloes have been considered close companions and among the most valuable property of farmers. For many farmers in Hội An in the central province of Quảng Nam, buffaloes are also the highlights of eco-tours hosted by the Jack Trần Tours company. No karaoke, bars, gyms as HCMC resumes non-essential services

The decision was made Thursday by the city Vice Chairman Duong Anh Duc after the southern metropolis went 14 days without any Covid-19 community transmission. Under the latest decision, wedding centers, restaurants, movie theaters and other places of recreation would reopen next Monday. Tourism activities, transportation, catering services, shopping centers, museums, historical relics and libraries are also allowed to reopen, but must ensure a minimum distance of one meter between two people. Catering establishments are banned from accommodating more than 30 people. City authorities have also allowed the organization of religious events but gatherings of more than 50 people at a time are banned.
