Mozambican Foreign Minister Verónica Nataniel made the statement during a working session held alongside Vietnamese Ambassador to Mozambique Le Huy Hoang on November 23, with the event taking place as part of activities to mark the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. During the meeting, the Minister Nataniel stated that she hopes Vietnam will continue to share its experience that it has learned from these successes in order to help her nation make faster progress in terms of the process of regional and international integration. The Hanoitimes - The potash salt mine project in Laos became the 5th loss-making project of Vinachem and the 13th projects of Ministry of Industry & Trade sustaining loss of hundreds of millions of dollars. “Another loss-making project has resurfaced in the name of potash salt mine project in Laos,” said the Vice Minister of Industry & Trade Do Thang Hai at the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem)’s year-end meeting on January 19 to prepare its targets for 2018. The Hanoitimes - According to the survey, 52% of Vietnamese travelers have already considered booking somewhere to stay in order to work from a different destination, while 57% would be willing to quarantine if they could work remotely. A recently survey conducted by Booking.com showed that workcation looks set to form a key part of people future travels, at least for the next couple of years. ‘Workation’, as the word suggests, is ‘Work’ + ‘Vacation’ and involves working away from office, blending leisure with business. A survey conducted by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Duc from Vietnam National University – Hanoi reveals that in 10 years from 2009, the number of Vietnamese articles published in international scientific journals increased fivefold (between 1,764 articles in 2009 to 8,234 in 2018). After the introduction of Resolution No.29 in 2013, which promotes scientific research in different fields, only in 2 years from 2017-2018, leading universities in Vietnam possess around 10,000 research result reports announced internationally. Statistics of Web of Science (WoS) and SCOPUS also display that in 2018, the quantity of annual international announcements related to research result reached nearly 10,000, 70 percent of which belongs to tertiary educational institutes. Vietnam National University – Hanoi and Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City are the two with the most articles.
