Blooming coffee flowers a hidden gem in Vietnam’s Central Highlands

Photos of coffee flowers in full bloom across the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak are capturing the imaginations of photography, travel, and nature lovers across Vietnam. Bui Nguyen Van Nguyen, the photographer behind the Instagram account @odaucungchup, is known for his stunning depictions of life in Ho Chi Minh City. His newest photo series, however, has shifted gears, highlighting the beauty of blossoming coffee flowers for the account’s 108,000 followers. With 7,700 ‘loves’ and 160 comments on the series, his photos are a hit. “I was surprised to see how much everyone loved my photos. So was my family,” Nguyen told Tuoi Tre News . According to Nguyen, a Central Highlands native who now lives in Ho Chi Minh City, the photos were taken at his father’s two-hectare Robusta coffee farm. “My father was thrilled to see his farm adored by so many people,” Nguyen said, adding that his father looks after the coffee plants as if they were his own children. Vietnam repatriates 1,000 citizens on three days

Vietnam has been continuing repatriating its citizens from countries affected by the novel coronavirus, bringing home as many as 1,000 people on June 4-6. Repatriating citizens remain one of Vietnam's priorities currently. Vietnam considers reopening to foreign tourists in new normalcy

Vietnam needs to build hub airports

The Hanoitimes - Vietnam’s is considered as one of the fastest growing aviation markets in Asia. Vietnam should invest in hub airports in terms of scale and capacity instead of massively building ones, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV)’s proposal on its draft plan on the development of the national airport system by 2030, with a vision to 2050. nCoV: Vietnam repatriates citizens from China

The Hanoitimes - People who returned from China will be quarantined for 14 days before coming home. Vietnam will repatriate its citizens from China on fears of worse situation of novel coronavirus (nCoV)-caused epidemic that has killed 426 people and caused 20,626 infections in China. On February 2, Vietnam’s Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to work with the Chinese side to bring Vietnamese nationals back to the country through border gates and airports.
