ACFC, distributor of IPP Group, a major Vietnamese fashion retailer, has confirmed that they are introducing the OVS brand in Vietnam. OVS is a popular fashion brand in Europe. In Italy, the brand has 15 percent of the market share in the country's children aged 0-14 segment. The company’s products range is geared towards consumers of all ages. Its collection stretches from bold, urban looks, to elegant, formal office attire. At the same time, the OVS price tag targets the mass consumer segment. An increasing middle-class population has made Vietnam a magnet for international fast fashion brands, industry insiders have noted. A green-red rivalry heats up food delivery market
Last week, a sea of red filled the inside of a milk tea shop in Ho Chi Minh City instead of regular young customers usually found in such places. GoViet drivers were queuing up to purchase food ordered by customers over its online deliver app Go Food, which was running a 50-percent discount program along with free delivery within 5 kilometers. The very next morning, the shop was filled with green shirts of Grab drivers. Grab had launched a free delivery promotion for the first 999 cups of milk tea ordered. Gradually, the green shirt – red shirt war is becoming visible on the streets. Despite being new entrants in the online food delivery market, both Go Viet and Grab are using various measures to attract and capture customer habits. (VEN) - The number of convenience stores is growing rapidly in Vietnam. Increased number According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, at the end of 2014, the city had 326 convenience stores. By March 2018, that figure had surged by 3.5 times to 1,144 stores, biting into the business of traditional markets and supermarkets. While traditional markets are gradually degraded, convenience stores continue to increase its number. Leading convenience store names such as 7-Eleven and Circle K have flocked to Vietnam, drawn to one of the world’s most attractive retail markets. Philippines closes Boracay to tourists under high security
