Sympathies sent to Vietnamese victims in Phnom Penh fire
The site of the fire in Russey Keo district of Phnom Penh on July 10 (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC) Tran Thanh Man sent his sympathies on July 11 to the Khmer-Vietnam Association in Cambodia and Vietnamese people in the country on the losses due to a fire in Russey Keo district of Phnom Penh one day earlier. The fire began at 3:30am on July 10 in Russey Keo district, completely destroying the houses and assets of tens of households, most of whom are Vietnamese-Cambodian people. In his message, on behalf of the VFFCC Standing Board, Man offered their deepest sympathies to the Vietnamese and Cambodian families affected by the fire.
