The global survey of more than 3,000 executives and IT professionals worldwide found that the top 25 per cent of all respondents – market leaders known as “trailblazers” – are not only leading the way on cybersecurity but also delivering more value and better business outcomes. Many of these trailblazers say that growing revenue is the top value sought from digital transformation efforts. Nearly nine in 10 trailblazers say they are getting a payoff that meets or exceeds their expectations (compared to 66 per cent of the other respondents). Trailblazers are also significantly more optimistic about the potential growth in revenue and profit margin for their companies, with 57 per cent expecting revenue to grow by 5 per cent or more, and 53 per cent expecting profit margin to grow by 5 per cent or more. The winning team of the 2019 Practical Money Skills programme On September 10, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association (CCVSA) and Visa held the grand finale of their 2019 Practical Money Skills programme at Hanoi University, concluding a programme in which five teams of students from across the country developed plans to help promote financial literacy among their peers. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc (right) was handed the symbolic gavel from Thailand’s counterpart Prayut Chan-o-cha in Bangkok As the 35th ASEAN Summit and related events in Bangkok wrapped up last week, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received the symbolic gavel from Thai counterpart Prayut Chan-o-cha in a handover ceremony, symbolising that Vietnam will assume the rotating chair of the ASEAN for 2020. Previously, the country held the responsibility in 1998 and 2010. The chairmanship will formally begin on January 1 next year.
