Authorities of the central city of Danang have approved a VND46-billion (USD2 million) project to develop tourism services at local beaches during the 2018-2020 period. Sao Bien Beach in the central city of Danang’s Ngu Hanh Son District faces serious erosion. On January 19, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Huynh Duc Tho, led a task force to inspect the beach. Danang City's officials inspected the erosion of Sao Bien Beach Tran Chi Cuong, deputy head of the city’s Tourism Department, said that the erosion has occurred over the past month.
