The five-day festival gathers renowned chefs from different countries such as Germany, Mexico, Australia, India, China, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Sweden, the US, Turkey, Malaysia and Singapore. As the third-largest city of Vietnam, Da Nang has gone from a place that is "best known for being a gateway to UNESCO Heritage town of Hai An" to an attraction "with a strong foodie scene and new hotels and resorts popping up on a five-mile-long beach strip", according to the newspaper. Da Nang anticipates 332,500 tourist arrivals during Tet

As the Tet holiday makes for a busy tourism season for people from China, Japan, the Republic of Korea (RoK), the EU, and the US, as well as overseas Vietnamese, the city hopes the number of foreigner visitors will rise 23.1 percent to hit 162,600. Thanks to the opening of several direct flights connecting Da Nang to Incheon, Busan, and Daegu (RoK), Osaka (Japan), Bangkok (Thailand), and Doha (Qatar), foreign tourists will now find it much easier to visit the city. Da Nang expects to greet 350,000 tourists on holiday

The number of holidaymakers is projected to surge because the holiday coincides with the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2018, which is scheduled to kick off on April 29th, carrying the theme “The Legends of Bridges”. Continue southward on Tran Phu and you’ll come to Le Hong Phong to the right side, an interesting side street with several good food options. First up is Mì Quảng Ếch at 24-26 Le Hong Phong, which serves mì Quảng pork, chicken, and frog versions for VND 30-50k. 2. Thai Market at number 17 serves Thai food in table-top shabu-shabu style for around VND200k for two people as well as memorable shrimp, clam, and fish cake soup for VND50k.
