The power of HMB In preventing muscle loss of the elderly
Two glasses of Ensure Gold can provide enough HMB to protect your muscle daily Muscles play a role in your body’s movement, balance, and posture, as well as your metabolism and even facial structure. Your muscles are a critical source of strength and energy as you recover. When you’re sick or hospitalised, your body doesn’t get enough of the nutrients it needs to recover, which causes it to break down muscle tissue. This kind of muscle loss is associated with delayed recovery from illness, slowed wound healing and impacts the quality of life. However, we might only recognise the role of muscles when we have lost them, for example during hospitalization or falls. Starting at the age of 40, adults can naturally lose up to 8 per cent of muscle every decade. After the age of 70, that rate almost doubles up to 15 per cent. The good news is, while aging is a natural process, muscle loss can be slowed down or reversed, thanks to the discovery of HMB, a unique nutritional … [Read more...] about The power of HMB In preventing muscle loss of the elderly

By Hồ Hoàng Visitors of Hạ Long City can enjoy fresh seafood to appease their hungry stomachs, but they can also enjoy the local speciality of chả mực — fried ground squid cakes. The dish was voted one of the country’s top 10 tastiest dishes by Asian Record. Local Bùi Văn Mừng, 80, said that nature has given many special gifts to Hạ Long Bay, including squid with a buttery, chewy soft and aromatic flavour. Squid in the central and southern regions are much more salty compared with the Hạ Long variety, he said. Mừng recalled the squid cakes made by his mother some 20 years ago.“She would wake up very early in the morning to go to the beach and wait for a boat from offshore to come in. She’d buy the thick squid and bring it home to grind it in a stone mortar. “The grinding process is very important. Jurgen Klopp was much-criticised early in the campaign for refusing to splash out on a back-up option to Van Dijk as Liverpool's chances of challenging City for the title vanished quickly due to defensive … [Read more...] about Van Dijk led Liverpool defence set for City acid test
