Cultural, sports construction projects seek city’s approval

Accordingly, public investment projects include the building of Phu Tho Horse Racing Ground, land allocation of the HCMC Multi-Cultural Center in Can Gio District, rebuilding HCMC Cultural Center, handing over land to the expansion of the Ho Chi Minh Museum - HCM City branch, the property right over land to upgrade the HCM City Culture and Arts College in HCMC. Regarding to socialized projects, the department has made suggestions on land allocation for Phan Dinh Phung Sports Center; delegating The Housing Management and Construction Inspection Center (HMCIC) of the HCMC Department of Construction and functional units to complete procedures to refund to Bong Sen Yamachi Co,. Ltd; asking the HMCIC to hand over the building at No.99 on Pasteur Street in District 1 to the Department. Youth Month 2021 vibrantly responded nationwide

* On March 1, the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union held a ceremony at the memorial site of hero martyr Ly Tu Trong in Thach Ha District to kick off the Youth Month 2021 and the spring tree planting festival. Within the programme, the organisers presented 40 gifts to policy beneficiary families and disadvantaged children, and 20 bicycles to needy juniors with good academic performance, and inaugurated youth works in Youth Park, worth a total of VND450 million (US$19,512), at the war remnants area of Ly Tu Trong High School. Thailand’s Udon Thani Province wishes to take lead in cooperation with Vietnam

The Udon Thani official made the remark during a working session with Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Phan Chi Thanh on the occasion of the latter’s working visit to the province from February 23 to 28. Sayam Sirimongkorn spoke highly of the Vietnamese community in Thailand as a whole and in Udon Thani in particular, who, he said, have always showed a great sense of solidarity, complied with the law and made significant contributions to the locality. Ambassador Phan Chi Thanh thanked the provincial authorities for offering valuable support to the Vietnamese community, voicing his hopes that the Udon Thani leaders will continue to create favourable conditions for the Vietnamese community and help them in terms of policies and law, as well as supporting the work of local Vietnamese associations. Activities mark International Women’s Day 2021

Accordingly, it will coordinate with the LIGHT Community Health Development Institute and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women to launch a campaign entitled ‘For the smiles of women’ on March 6. Plum flowers bloom in Bac Ha plateau

Bac Ha district has more than 1,600 hectares of fruit trees, including over 1,000 hectares of plum trees. In spring, plum trees bring a poetic scene to the plateau as every street, alley and mountain is filled with the white blossoms. Blooming white flowers stand out against the green leaf buds.
