The President, who is also Head of the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform, made the request during a working session with the Party Civil Affairs Committee of the Supreme People’s Court on judicial reform of the court sector in Hanoi on October 15. President Phuc hailed courts for their achievements in judicial reform over the past years, helping to protect citizens’ rights , State interests, and legitimate rights and interests of individuals and organisations and to create a healthy and stable environment for socio-economic development and international integration. All Hanoi’s three levels of administration meet the requirements for being classified in the level 1, which is considered a “green zone”. Hanoi authorities have exerted the best efforts to make city a Covid-19-free zone, or “green zone”, again, according to the Hanoi Center for Disease Control (CDC). The Hanoi CDC said the capital city has administered at least one dose of vaccine to 98% of its populace aged between 18 and 65. The number of new Covid-19 cases detected in the community/100,000 people/week is approximately 0.025, meeting requirements for being classified in the level 1 of the four safety levels or safe zone. The six tourists, arriving by air from Ho Chi Minh City, are visiting Quang Binh in a package tour permitted by the provincial People’s Committee. They will experience services at Chay Lap Farmstay, explore the Tu Lan cave system, and wrap up their trip on October 17. This is one of the package tours offered by the Oxalis Adventure company and attracting much interest from travellers from HCM City, Hanoi, and many other localities. Conservationists and residents concerned with heritages of Saigon, the former name of Ho Chi Minh City, are eagerly awaiting a new home for the iconic mosaic flooring rescued from the Tax Trade Center, a French colonial-era shopping complex demolished five years ago to make way for a skyscraper project. In 2014, shortly after the high-rise project planned to replace the Tax Trade Center was announced, an assembly of Ho Chi Minh City architects, cultural experts, and local residents gathered 2,500 signatures in support of preserving the 130-year-old building, Lao Dong (Labor) newspaper reported.
