By the end of October 2018, the province had over 3,400 enterprises, 78 percent of which are micro-sized businesses, 20 percent are small-sized ones, and the rest of 1.4 percent, medium ones. In the third quarter 43 new projects comprising houses and apartments came into the market in Bac Ninh, 40 kilometers north-east of Hanoi, according to Vietnam Realtor, a real estate agents business group. The investment projects, mostly in agricultural production, forestry, electricity networks, transport infrastructure, irrigation and health care, have contributed to the socio-economic development in Lao and Cambodian localities.According to Dak Lak provincial Department of Planning and Investment, the Dak Lak Rubber Investment JSC has carried out a project growing perennial industrial crops, such as rubber and coffee, in Laos with a total investment of nearly US$71 million.So far, the company has planted over 9,500 hectares of rubber and coffee trees, most of which are in the provinces of Champasak and Salavan.
