First University opens Indian Studies Center in HCMC

Vietnamese Ambassador to India Pham Sanh Chau (right) and HIU Principal Professor Ho Thanh Phong pose for a photograph The center, the first of its kind in the south and the second in the country, will carry out researches on realities and practicalities of India, the relation between India and Vietnam as well as between India and nations in the world for training the school’s teaching staff. In addition, it will promote and expand the training and scientific research activities between two countries. It also encourages training cooperation between two countries such as providing scholarships, offering employment for graduates and promoting teacher, students exchange program.
