The national football squad’s South Korean chief coach Park Hang Seo has returned to his work after quarantine. The coach faces challenges and great expectations. Singapore, US reaffirm bilateral defence ties

In his Facebook post on March 3, Ng Eng Hen said that during their phone talks, the two sides discussed security challenges in the region, including the persistent threat of terrorism. The minister said that he looks forward to working closely with Austin to ensure that the region continues to enjoy stability, peace and progress. Thailand persists with 4-percent GDP growth target this year

(Photo: VNA) Bangkok (VNA) – The Thai government has pledged to revitalise tourism, stimulate domestic spending , and spur exports and investment to help economic growth reach its 4-percent target this year, local media reported. Deputy Prime Minister Supattanapong Punmeechaow said the government still maintains an economic growth target of 4 percent this year although various economic forecasting agencies have downgraded their outlook to only 2.7-3 percent growth. The Fiscal Policy Office (FPO) recently slashed Thailand's economic growth forecast to 2.8 percent this year, down from 4.5 percent in October 2020, while the Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking maintained its economic outlook at 1.5-3.5 percent, despite the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine. Lung Cu Flag Tower in Ha Giang Province and Hanoi Flag Tower are two of the seven similar sites nationwide that are well-known among both locals and visitors. Two local scientists win Noam Chomsky Global Connections Awards
The pair were presented with the Shining Star Achievement in the Research category during an online awards ceremony held at 7 a.m. on December 9. The Shining Star Achievement in Research award is given in recognition of influential scholarly contributions in any discipline, typically in the form of scholarly journal articles that are published, or alternatively books, book chapters, or other expressions of scholarly collaboration. Prof. Tran Xuan Bach was born in 1984 and is currently vice head of the Health Economics Department at Hanoi Medical University. He possesses extensive experience in relation to research, surveillance, and evaluation of global health threats in the Asia-Pacific region.
