Phung Si Tan, deputy chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, on October 29 received Colonel Buzin Nikolai Evgenievich , deputy head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus. The Belarusian officer's visit takes place in the context that defence cooperation between the two countries is being stepped up, especially after the visit to Vietnam by Belarusian Defence Minister Ravkov Andrei Alekseevich in November 2018. Host and guest shared the view that military science is an important area of cooperation between the two countries.
