For him, blood donation is the noblest sacrifice. Apirat has been giving blood since he was young, normally to the Thai Red Cross Society. He still remembers the first time he contributed his blood to the community. “The first time I donated my blood was when I was a high school student, just before I entered university… I was a bit afraid at that time, as I thought it might be painful. But it turned out that the pain was not that great, and the pride in doing something good for other people far outweighed the little pain,” Apirat said.
