An arts program was held in Hanoi on May 18, to celebrate the 129th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2019) and 50 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh’s testament.

Addressing the event, Thuan Huu, a member of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Editor-in-Chief of the Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the PCC Communication and Education Commission, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, said that President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career is a shining example of patriotism, communist qualities, intellectual wisdom, revolutionary morality and great encouragement for generations of Vietnamese people.
The art program aims to expresses the deep gratitude for the huge contributions of the beloved national leader to the country’s independence and freedom.
The event gathered artists and performers, who brought songs and dances to the stage praising the Party and Uncle Ho, as well as the beauty of Vietnam’s land and people.
On the occasion, at the Hanoi Opera House, 38 paintings on President Ho Chi Minh were put on display.
