HCMC-based Gia An 115 Hospital opens doors By Le Hoang The first patients visit the newly launched Gia An 115 Hospital in HCMC’s Binh Tan District – PHOTO: VIET LINH HCMC – Gia An 115 Hospital on September 26 was officially put into service, welcoming its first patients at No. 5, 17A Street, in Binh Tri Dong B Ward, Binh Tan District, HCMC, aiming to provide the quality health checkups and treatment for residents, especially those in the western city. Gia An 115 Hospital is reportedly the first project to be executed under the public-private partnership format, with the cooperation of People’s Hospital 115. The newly founded hospital was approved by the municipal government to reduce the overload at public hospitals in the city. The hospital received over VND1.5 trillion in funding and is fully equipped, while its healthcare specialists and staff received training locally and abroad. Notably, leading healthcare experts from People’s Hospital 115 will also work there. Gia An 115 Hospital, which was granted a business license by the Ministry of Health, functions as a general hospital, placing particular emphasis on specialized departments such as cardiology, neurology and stroke, endocrinology, physical therapy and rehabilitation services. In addition, it is the second hospital to be located in the International Hi-tech Healthcare Park of Hoa Lam Shangri-La, which is the healthcare complex founded in 2018, housing more than 1,700 inpatient beds. The complex is expected to host six general and specialized hospitals, as well as auxiliary facilities.
