FLC invests in golf course in Thanh Hoa Le Hoang By Le Hoang – The Saigon Times Daily HCMC – FLC Group Joint Stock Company has started work on a project incorporating a golf course and an international resort in Sam Son District in Thanh Hoa Province with an initial investment of VND5.5 trillion (less than US$262 million). The investor said as part of FLC Samson Golf Links project, the 18-hole golf course was being built on a 92.49-hectare area of greenery, lakes, clubhouse, guest rooms and villas. This is the first investment project of FLC in Thanh Hoa Province. The group is planning FLC Hotel Sam Son and FLC Villa Sam Son projects in the province. FLC said on its website that it was also investing in industrial zones, urban areas and resorts in other localities, including Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Quang Binh and HCMC. Established in 2008 as a small business, FLC Joint Stock Company had its name changed to FLC Group Joint Stock Company in November 2010. The group, which operates in finance, real estate and mining sectors, was listed on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange in 2011.
